In October 2003 Mr Christodoulou appeared as Caiaphas the High Priest in a production of the world famous and hugely popular 1970s rock opera 'Jesus Christ, Superstar' at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage. Written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, and with a cast of 50 and a band of 11 musicians, the four critically acclaimed performances were all sold out.
Playing Jesus was talented local actor Steve Anderson, who had already played Jesus earlier in the year at Reading. He has also played Jesus in the other classic 1970s musical about the life of Jesus, 'Godspell'. |
