Introduction
For my Religious Studies coursework I have chosen Easter as my subject.  This is because I think that Easter is what Christianity is about.  Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born on Christmas; but he died and rose in Easter, which was the reason why he was born.  Our Lord was born so that he could teach us the Christian way of life. Then in his thirty third year on earth he died on the cross, which was the main reason that he was born. He was born to sacrifice himself for the world and to free people from the slavery of the devil.
In my project I will be using a variety of sources such as books, magazines, television, documentaries, videos, interviews, personal experience etc.  I will be using pictures and diagrams throughout the project to make my ideas clearer.  I will also be using the bible for some of the prophecies written about Christ's coming, and to show what happened at the time of Jesus, which was written by eye and spiritual witnesses.
I will use the bible most frequently because I think that it provides very detailed information about what happened at the time.  Some of the disciples were eyewitnesses to what happened, but I think someone like St. Mark or St. Luke, who were not eyewitnesses, have written the bible in a special way.  I believe that they had their inspiration from the Holy Spirit.  Not only them, but also all the other disciples and apostles have been guided.  Guided to preach, write and teach about God's word from the Holy Spirit, which descended unto them from the heavens on Pentecost.
In this project I will also be looking briefly at Jesus' life from his birth to the moment he entered Jerusalem.  Then I will be describing in detail what happened to him, from the time he entered Jerusalem to his ascension into his heavenly kingdom.
