| Reconstructions of Roman Uniforms |

| As we said earlier, modern reconstructions of Roman Army uniforms are largely based on the figures depicted on Trajan's Column [left]. Modern re-enactment groups, such as the Ermine Street Guard [ see picture below] have based their uniform designs on these images. Their uniforms are about as accurate as it is possible to be at this time. |
